The Washington DCJCC presents the annual Hyman S. & Freda Bernstein Jewish Literary Festival, October 6-16. The Festival includes 12 events and features celebrated authors and scholars, including E.L. Doctorow with an exclusive preview of his new book Andrew’s Brain: A Novel (Knopf 2014). Other highlights include author and activist Dan Savage, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz and novelist Walter Mosley.
