Zemer Chai, the Jewish Chorale of the Nation’s Capital, will host a unique December concert with special guests, The Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Chamber Singers. The concert will feature songs of peace and justice, highlighting the gifts and responsibilities of our nation’s religious freedom. The choruses will share treasured choral arrangements in English, Yiddish and Ladino, with melodies from ancient times to the evocative sounds of Peter, Paul and Mary and contemporary composers.
“At this time of year, it’s good to remember how fortunate we are to live in a country that protects the rights of all communities to worship and celebrate in freedom,” said Eleanor Epstein, founding conductor of Zemer Chai.
