WASHINGTON – Washingtonians will soon have the opportunity to speak with best-selling Israeli author Savyon Liebrecht as part of Savyon Liebrecht: From the Page to the Stage at the Washington DC Jewish Community Center on Sunday December 16 at 6:00 p.m. Liebrecht’s recently adapted acclaimed short story Apples from the Desert is playing at the DCJCC’s Theater J in December and January. Savyon will discuss the interplay and ultimate independence of literature and theater.
