Internationally renowned violinist Zvi Zeitlin, a legendary performer and teacher whose career spanned seven decades, passed away this May at the age of 90. Known for championing the works of contemporary composers, he premiered the Schoenberg Violin Concerto and was closely associated with the work of American modernists such as Aaron Copland, Lukas Foss, and George Rochberg. Join SSG Robert Martin, a former pupil of Zeitlin, and SSG Joel Ayau as they present a recital of pieces that were staples of Mr. Zeitlin's repertoire throughout his career.
