7,500 tribal Kuki-Chin-Mizo from a turbulent corner of Northeast India believe they are the descendants of the Lost Tribe of Menasseh. With no written record of their history, they are faced with the difficult task of proving themselves to be Jews in order to be able to make aliyah (to immigrate Israel). We follow the lives of three Manipuri Jews living in a neglected part of the country where their steadfast belief and strict practice of Orthodox Judaism offer them a glimpse of a better life.
