Yifat Bitton: The Challenges Facing the Sephardic Community in Israel Today
Professor Yifat Bitton is a leading legal activist and founder and current co-chair of Tmura Center – The Israeli Antidiscrimination
Center. An expert in anti-discrimination law and utilizing civil cases and private law for nation-wide social change, Bitton is Associate Professor at the School of Management Law School in Israel. A Yale Law School alumnae with a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Bitton has been visiting researcher at Harvard University Law School. Professor Bitton is a New Israel Fund board member and co-founder of several civil society organizations in Israel.
