This programme of music by Schulhoff, Klein and Messiaen, composers whose lives were forever changed by the Nazi legacy, celebrates the resilience of the human spirit by transforming tragedy into artistic triumph. Via Salzburg welcomes guest second violinist Evgenia Epshtein who joins us direct from Israel, as well as renowned clarinetist Joaquin Valdepenas and pianist Jeanie Chung. Bill Coleman, from the highly-acclaimed Coleman, Lemieux & Compagnie, has created a breathtaking dance piece to help us bring the evening's remarkable programme to life.
