The Jewish Diversity Committee in cooperation with
The Israel Connections Committee Presents
Understanding "Pride" and Our Place in It: How the Anti-Israel Movement Affects Jews in Canada
A film screening of Reclaiming our Pride, produced by Martin Gladstone, Queer Films Corporation
This 58 minute film incorporates images and interviews from the 2009 Pride Parade
in Toronto, revealing the Queers Against Israel Apartheid's efforts to demonize Israel, which has caused discomfort to Jews and Israel supporters in Canada.
This screening contributes to Pride Month, and will encourage every Jew to march with pride, join Kulanu Toronto, in the Pride Parade on July 4th, 2010.
A panel will contribute to understanding how the effort to boycott Israeli products and people, to
divest from investments in Israel, and to impose sanctions, is affecting the Jewish community.
