The Joel Schwartz Memorial Hockey Tournament (JSMHT) is a grassroots charity in Toronto that will be holding its inaugural hockey tournament fundraiser on March 13, 2011 at Chesswood Arena (4000 Chesswood Dr., Toronto, ON. M3J2W6) to commemorate Joel Schwartz’s experience on his Birthright Israel trip. The charity will be contributing 100% of the proceeds to support the Reena Birthright Israel Program; pairing young adults with developmental disabilities, like Joel, with Reena 'shadows' so that they may fully participate on CIE Birthright trips to Israel.
Joel Schwartz tragically passed away just 2 months after his life changing Birthright experience...he is our inspiration.
