Guest Speaker: Rabbi Capers Funnye
Rabbi Capers Funnye Jr. is the rabbi and spiritual leader of Beth Shalom B'nai Zaken Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation of Chicago. He is also National Associate Director of Be'Chol Lashon (In Every Tongue), Rabbi of Nigeria Orthodox Sabbath Solidarity (NOSS), which is headquartered in Akwete, Nigeria, and he serves as Rabbi of the Pan African Jewish Alliance.

On his first trip to Canada, Rabbi Funnye welcomes the opportunity to meet members of the Toronto Jewish community, to share his experiences and knowledge of the Afro-American Jewish community, and some of the many African Jewish communities that are emerging and re-emerging. His presentation will be accompanied by slides and there will be time for Q & A.
