JEWISH GENEALOGIST TO GIVE WORKSHOP ON JEWISH ROOTS IN POLAND
The renowned Montreal-based genealogist and researcher Stanley Diamond will be presenting the workshop “Your Jewish Roots in Poland: The Records Survive, Now What?” on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at a Family History Conference in Toronto.
Stanley M. Diamond is the founder and president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Montreal and the Executive Director of Jewish Records Indexing – Poland. He is a frequent contributor to Avotaynu, is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies and the Coordinator of the Beta Thalassemia Genetic Trait Project working at McGill University - Montreal Children's Hospital and Hebrew University-Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem.
Those who register may submit questions in advance that they would like answered and surnames and place names they are researching for Mr. Diamond to address in his lecture.
