Never / Again contrasts the work of two emerging photographers, Shannon Scully and Jeremy Mimnagh. Each travelled independently to a site of genocide, using their cameras to document, witness and memorialise. Each photographer has captured human tragedy in their own unique style. The vivid landscape and haunting portraits of Rwandan survivors constrast with the void architectural remains of Theresienstadt to convey a compelling message about history and humanity. The work of each artist compels us to contemplate and act towards Tikkun Olam: creating a better world.
