Hike begins with a climb uphill on the sidewalk along Bathurst Street, which will be the hard point of the hike. Once we reach the top of that hill we will enter a forested area & a ravine. Hopefully with this promising early spring, flowers will be in bloom at the ravine and all will be beautiful. Bring a picnic lunch or buy lunch at an israeli restaurant at Steeles & Bathurst, Take our luches and drive to Richmond Green manicured park. Sit outside and eat by the waterfall. You may wish to bring a camera, beacuse we go for a wild natural nature walk to an ultra mancured Japanese Flower garden setting that invites photos. Bring lunch, backpack, water, hiking boots/shoes, food or money for lunch, hat, sunglasses. This event requires driving to the meeting point in Richmond Hill. It will be worth it! If you don't drive, find a friend who does and come along together. Non-members pay $7.00 to attend this outing.
