On Thursday June 2, 2011, the Maccabeats are playing their premiere Toronto concert as a benefit for Laniado Hospital. The Sanz Medical Centre- Laniado Hospital, Netanya services over 250 000 people. Not only is it the only hospital in the region, it is an Israeli Defence Force's specialist in providing life saving first response following any terrorist attack. Laniado Hospital never goes on strike, and treats everyone, regardless of religion or race.
The Maccabeats are Yeshiva University's widely successful singing sensation. They have been featured on CNN, and the Today Showa , they have millions of views on their YouTube videos and have played to crowds of over 1000 in Houston, Chicago and Atlanta. We are thirilled to be their FIRST and ONLY Toronto performance and expect to sell out.
