Inspiring lecture on Achieving Jewish unity

Rabbi Zev Leff will be a guest scholar in residence of Shomrai Shabbos Chevrah Misnayos for Shabbos Parshas Toldos. Rabbi Leff will be speaking numerous times over shabbos for both men and women and will be the keynote speaker at our Dessert Malava Malka benefiting Belev Echad Kiruv organization of Bet Shemesh Israel.

Rav Zev Leff Shlita, is one of Israel’s most popular English-speaking Torah educators. For more than 20 years, he has served as the Rav of Moshav Matityahu, Israel. Rabbi Leff is a much sought-after lecturer and teacher, he is constantly traveling to speak at events throughout Israel and abroad. Known for his wit, humor and analytical brilliance, Rabbi Leff's taped lectures on Torah and Jewish themes are distributed worldwide. He is also the author of the books: Outlooks and Insights On the Weekly Torah Portion, Shemoneh Esrei: the Depth and Beauty of our Daily Tefillah and Festivals of Life: the Depth and Meaning of the Moadim. Rabbi Leff received his semicha ordination from the Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland Ohio, where he studied under Rav Mordechai Gifter, zt"l. In 1974, Rabbi Leff became the rabbi of Young Israel of North Miami Beach, where he spent the next nine years building a thriving young Torah community. Fulfilling a life-long dream, he moved with his family to Eretz Yisrael in 1983 settling in Moshav Matityahu where he continues to serve as Rav, as well as Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah Matisyahu.
