The Annex Shul Tikkun Olam/Charity Initiative Presents An Exciting New Volunteer Opportunity!

On Tuesday, September 13th at 7 pm at the Wolfond Centre (36 Harbord Street), the Annex Shul will be assisting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with its Pink Ribbon Campaign. Volunteers will be creating Pink Ribbons that will be used to help promote the importance of breast cancer and breast health issues. These ribbons will be distributed at the upcoming CIBC Run for the Cure.

We are extremely excited that the Director of Marketing and Communications of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Ontario Region) will be joining us to give a brief presentation about the organization and the many different ways in which volunteers can contribute to the cause.

Yacov Fruchter will also be leading a brief discussion that will link our actions to the upcoming high holidays.

PIZZA WILL BE SERVED!

As well, for those who are interested, we will walk over to a local establishment for a drink after the event.
