Please join Uptown Chabad on Shabbat, January 23 for an informative lecture on "Addictions in the Jewish Community; How to be aware and what you can do to help."
Guest lecturer is Mr. Jay Pasternak of JACS Toronto. The lecture is to be prefaced by a personal account of triumph and healing. There will also be a question and answer period.
Shabbat services begin at 9am. Services will conclude at approximately 11am, followed by a buffet kiddush in the social hall. We will then return to the Shul for the lecture presentation. A kids program will run simultaneously.
