For Sci-Fi fans or anyone that lived in the 80's, there's a great exhibit at Pacific Science Center right now - Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination!
Red 5 standing by...
From their site:
"See more than 80 authentic costumes, interactive displays, models and props from all six Star Wars films, including Luke Skywalker's landspeeder and Darth Vader's menacing black suit. These objects are displayed alongside modern technologies that may one day make the world of Star Wars a reality."
These are not the droids you're looking for.
Tickets are currently listed at $20 - I've put a call in to their group sales office and will update information when I learn more about the group discount. It will start at a minimum of 15 people.
The force is strong with this one.
Plan to meet on the North side (the Mural Amphitheater / Center House side) of Pacific Science Center at 1pm. Parking is available throughout the neighborhood on streets and in lots. I'd love to meet anyone for lunch at 11:30a at one of the various restaurants in the neighborhood if you're interested.
