What is it about certain melodies that makes us think, “Jewish Music?”
We’ll discuss the birth of Klezmer and its travel across Eastern Europe, with its adoption of Gypsy and Folk music from the region. There’s also its cousin, the Sephardic music tradition, which has greatly influenced modern Israeli-style compositions. Come enjoy a fun morning of fabulous music as we trek around the world following the nomadic music of the Jewish people.
