Join us for a special North African Mimouna celebration following Congregation Emanu-El's Young Adult Late Shabbat! A colorful Jewish festival, Mimouna is traditionally held on the last day of Passover and is celebrated by Moroccan Jews world-wide. Mimouna is a joyous celebration of good fortune, friendship, health and abundance. Lasting 24 hours, the festival combines food, dancing, singing and blessings.

Come mingle and enjoy the Mizrahi cantonal chanting of Aivee Alfassi, traditional Mufletta and other Mimouna sweets & drinks, a North African costume booth, henna tattoos, belly dancers, music and photos.
