After a year-long process of creation, you won’t want to miss the culminating performance of our artist-in-residence Rachel Dickstein’s movement-based theater adaptation of Gertrude Stein’s little-known book. The World Is Round steps inside the dreams, desires and drive of Rose, a young girl on a quest to climb a mountain. Through a textured weave of acrobatic action and darkly playful music by composer Heather Christian, Rose's journey illuminates the joys and challenges of growing up as a woman in the world.
