The JCC In Manhattan Announces: The 2012/2013 Season of R&R @ the JCC – February 16th – Future Day!
WHO: Current Events Discussion Group: Schmooze on the News with Gia Pace; 20's & 30's Volunteer Corp; Adventure Workshop with Shawn Shafner; Performing Arts Workshop with Rebeca Diaz; Alluring Androids and Robots in Film, Photography and Art Lecture; Mainstages Storybook Theater: Castle on Hester Street - Meet a friend from the future who shares the story of how his family arrived to New York City generations ago.; Mainstages Presents: A Journey into the Future Workshop - What will the world look like in 30 years?; What’s Jewish Got to do With the Future? Lecture; Adult Recycled Crafts: Upcycled Cork Trivet; Traditional Texts - What do the Torah and Talmud tell us about the Future?; George Washington University Sirens A Capella Concert: and all the usual weekly R&R activities!!!
WHAT: R&R Saturdays are FREE at the JCC! Make your Shabbat afternoon special and share in our community. Workshops, Art, Yoga, Meditation, Food, Music, Study Sessions, film, creative art projects, Spa Experiences, Indoor & Outdoor play! There are programs for both children and adults. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! All are welcome.
