The JCC In Manhattan Announces: The 2011/2012 Season of R&R @ the JCC – MARCH 10th
WHO: R&R Theatrical Experience: In The Voice of Our Mothers Breathing life into ancient texts, transcending time and space and told, this time, from the point of view of the women, In the Voice of Our Mothers opens the gates of Torah to reveal the intimate and powerful narratives of our Biblical matriarchs. Covering Your Feet with Shawn Shafner Come explore what the Bible can tell us about how our ancestors did their business, and how we should think about our bodies, Children’s Art Project: Celebrate Doing Good Deeds: Make Your Own Tzedakah Boxm What's Jewish Got to Do with a Bat Mitzvah? Join Janet R. Kirchheimer, teaching fellow at Clal, to discuss what it means for girls to come of age today and much, much more!
WHAT: R&R Saturdays are FREE at the JCC! Make your Shabbat afternoon special and share in our community. Workshops, Art, Yoga, Meditation, Food, Music, Study Sessions, film, creative art projects, Spa Experiences, Indoor & Outdoor play! There are programs for both children and adults. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! All are welcome.
