The JCC In Manhattan Announces: The 2012/2013 Season of R&R @ the JCC – February 23rd – Purim Day!
WHO: Current Events Discussion Group: Schmooze on the News & Storytelling with Gia Pace; Hebrew Playgroup; PurimSpiel Shadow Puppet Show; Community Cinema: Norma Rae; Adventure Workshop with Rebeca Diaz; What’s Jewish Got To Do With Purim and Heroes? Lecture - Join Janet R. Kirchheimer, teaching fellow at CLAL to talk about Queen Esther and Mordechai and what Jewish wisdom says about heroes; Stony Brook University Vocalists A Capella Concert: and all the usual weekly R&R activities!!!
WHAT: R&R Saturdays are FREE at the JCC! Make your Shabbat afternoon special and share in our community. Workshops, Art, Yoga, Meditation, Food, Music, Study Sessions, film, creative art projects, Spa Experiences, Indoor & Outdoor play! There are programs for both children and adults. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! All are welcome.
