Synaplex Shabbat & Program on Ethical Leadership

Category :: Community
Today's national and Jewish leaders face a world fraught with seemingly insurmountable problems and unparalleled challenges. You may be surprised to learn that many of the same difficult tests that faced our predecessors continue to confront today’s national and Jewish leaders as well, and that our ancient texts can impart remarkable wisdom that resonates still even across millenia.

The Babylonian Talmud, a literary treasure chest from one of the greatest Jewish communities ever, contains much to provoke thought in today’s modern context. In a world filled with unrest and instability, join Dr. Aaron Panken as he traces the values the authors of this fascinating text held dear, and considers the challenging decisions that they faced as they led their own communities.

All are welcome to join us for great Shabbat music, our engaging worship, Tot Shabbat (6pm), a delicious oneg reception, and the program to follow.
