East End Temple serves as the temporary home of the Stein Senior Center while the center’s new home at 204 East 23rd St. is under construction. Programming runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM until mid-afternoon and is open to anyone age 60 and above. Activities include yoga, Yiddish Club, an opera discussion group, tai chi and knitting. Twice a week the center will offer The Spa, which provides dementia specific activities for guests. Most programs, including a catered hot lunch, are free of charge
