Staying Chosen: Michele Adelson-Gavrieli at UJL #6

Category :: Singles
How important are healthy nutrition and environmental awareness to Jewish practice? For thousands of years, Jews have taken pride in their achievements as a people. But how can we be reaching our full potential as a “light unto the nations” when so many people treat their bodies so poorly? Why do Rabbis certify unhealthy foods as ‘Kosher’? And if we believe that the world is full of divine creations, then how do we treat it so badly? Enter Michele Adelson-Gavrieli – teacher, scholar and health & environmental crusader. Join Michele at the Aish Center’s University of Jewish Learning for an eye-opening, humorous, and informative take on what it means to truly live well.
