Paul Shapiro’s "Ribs & Brisket Revue"
What do you get when you take African-American jazz riffs, marry them to some klezmer tropes and Jewish shtick, and throw in something everyone can relate to – like food? You get Paul Shapiro’s Ribs and Brisket Revue, an eclectic mix of ’40s style Jewish Jazz, Yiddish Swing, and various kosher-style blues.
Join us on Friday, January 13 to hear Paul Shapiro and his band perform and showcase songs from their newest album, Essen (the Yiddish word for "eat").
Our Shabbat service starts at 6:15 pm (Tot Shabbat starts at 6pm) followed by dinner and then the music. Interactive programming for all ages!
