Shabbat in the Park/Shabbat BaGan

All are welcome as we celebrate Shabbat with an informal 30-minute service in neighboring Stuyvesant Square Park.
Enter the park on the west side of 2nd Ave betw 15th and 17th St. Some chairs and picnic blankets will be provided.
Bring food to be part of the potluck picnic following the service. In case of rain, service and picnic will be in our building, 245 E. 17th betw 2nd and 3rd.
Tot Shabbat starts at 6pm, adult service at 6:15, and the tots will join the whole community for the end of the service and picnic.
For this, our last Shabbat BaGan of 2011, we are also opening up our building at 245 East 17th St for a pre-High Holy Day Open House. Meet us, find out more about our Religious School, our dynamic clergy, and our welcoming liberal congregation.
