inhabiting change: science, imagination, and creativity

inhabiting change: science, imagination, and creativity

A conversation with Liz Lerman, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Urban Bush Women
Join choreographers Liz Lerman and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar of Urban Bush Women and their special guest, Shanna Ratner from Yellow Wood Associates, in a conversation about wealth and poverty in America. The artists are spending the year with The JCC in Manhattan to bring the most up-to-date information into the studio—with a particular focus on the physical manifestations of wealth and poverty on our bodies. We expect an exhilarating exchange as Ratner’s measurement tools and wealth-creation efforts in rural communities meet the community engagement and choreographic tools of Lerman and Zollar.
