Join us for a special singles event of improvisational comedy at the Stand-up New York Studio followed by pizza and beer on the JCC roof! Learn basic techniques of Improv Comedy (not Stand up Comedy) in a 60 minute class followed by a participatory show with veterans and up-and-comers who mix it up in a free-wheeling blend of skits, songs, and stories based on audience suggestions. Bring a single friend of the opposite sex - who wants to meet someone of the opposite sex - to meet and mingle with other 39+ singles. Meet in the lobby of the JCC at 5:45pm sharp and walk over to the theater on 78th street just east of Broadway (236 West 78th street). Class will start at 6pm, the show at 7pm. Followed by pizza and beer on the JCC roof after the show (weather permitting). Pre-registration is required; space is limited.
