In conversation with Prof. Mark Rosenblum, Director, Queens College Center for Jewish Studies & the Center for Ethnic, Racial & Religious Understanding, Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish will discuss his life as a physician who treats patients on both sides of the line. He is a humanitarian who sees improved health and education for women as the way forward for the Middle East. In the 2009 Gaza War, Israeli shells killed his threee daughters and niece. In his book, Dr. Abuelaish does not set out a political solution to the conflict, he simply tells his own story.
