Jeffrey Seller is the winner of three Tony Awards for Best Musical: Rent (1996), which also won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama; Avenue Q (2004); and In the Heights (2008). Jeffrey has also produced and/or developed De La Guarda (1998), Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (2000), Baz Luhrman’s production of Puccini’s La Boheme (2002), High Fidelity (2006), the new production of West Side Story (2009) and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (2011). Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He will talk about his illustrious career as a Broadway producer and how his Jewish identity has affected his career. Wine reception to follow.
