How do we live and celebrate our Jewishness? Through prayer and ritual? Social action? Intellectual debate? Bagels and lox and book clubs? What will be the Jewish heritage we pass on to the future?
Presented by Rabbi Adam Chalom, Dean, North America, of The International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism (IISHJ) and rabbi of Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation in suburban Chicago, Illinois. He holds a Ph.D. in Hebrew and Jewish Studies from the University of Michigan. This is the opening presentation of a week-end-long seminar, “Four Questions for Today’s Jews”, of the IISHJ.
This session is part of a weekend seminar of the IISHJ hosted by TCC. Cost: $20 per session or $50 for all three sessions.
