End Temple’s first Culture Shuk will be held Thursday, December 1st from 7 PM to 9 PM at East End Temple, 245 East 17 Street, New York, NY. This Israel culture series, created and developed by EET’s Cantor Shira Ginsburg, is a celebration of the creative culture of Israel.
“I am often asked what it is that I love about Israel so much that I go there almost every summer,” said Cantor Ginsburg. “Among the things that I love most about Israel: creativity, diversity, artistic expression, music, food, and the celebration of life are the very elements that the Culture Shuk has been created around. I wanted to share with other New Yorkers the things that make me love Israel.”
The December 1st event features a musical performance by jazz vocalist and composer Tammy Scheffer and her acclaimed sextet, including drummer Ronen Itzik.
