basics of knitting: beginner/intermediate

Category :: Other
Quickly knit up an airy summer-weight scarf in delicious colors to toss around your shoulders when the AC gets cranked up at work or in your bag for the breezy summer nights out. In three hours get the basics of how to knit or brush up on old skills and meet new people. Learn simple stitches to create other projects as desired. Just carrying around Lee's signature polka-dotted knitting needles out of the top of your bag will raise eyebrows!

Lee Apt is a favorite neighborhood knitter at the GreenFlea Market at Columbus and 77th Street whose cozy and opulent scarves are admired by all.

Lee will contact students in advance to discuss yarn choices and needles, so register now! This is a great workshop for teens, moms, seniors, and working professionals looking for a creative outlet.
