authentic chinese vegetarian dinner w/ wai chu
Wai Chu, cookbook author and instructor, will first show you some essential ingredients from the Asian pantry, then you’ll chop, slice, stir-fry, and steam your way towards an impeccably delicious vegetarian family-style meal. Dishes include shiitake mushroom steamed buns, stir-fried seitan and Chinese eggplant with garlic sauce, silken tofu with wild mushrooms and bok choy, zucchini and corn in Chinese egg sauce, curried rice noodles with pickled vegetables, and finish with steamed Jasmine rice and egg custard tarts. (This class is a Meatless Monday's offering!)
