The JCC In Manhattan Announces: The 2012/2013 Season of R&R @ the JCC – December 8th – Around The World Day
WHO: Gentle Movement and Yoga as prep for Meditation. “Invoking the Light;” telling the Chanukah story as metaphor for triumph of light over darkness, Adventure Workshop with Randy Kiersnowski: Duct Tape Extravaganza, Milton the Menorah! (A Chanukah Adventure!), Guy Mendilow Ensemble Family Concert, Performing Arts Workshop with Rebeca Diaz, Contemplative Meditation with Text. “Sharing the Light;” with text hand-outs, a final, heart-expanding meditation, A Capella Concert: University of Delaware’s YChromes and much, much, more!
WHAT: R&R Saturdays are FREE at the JCC! Make your Shabbat afternoon special and share in our community. Workshops, Art, Yoga, Meditation, Food, Music, Study Sessions, film, creative art projects, Spa Experiences, Indoor & Outdoor play! There are programs for both children and adults. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! All are welcome.
