Learn to use your digital SLR to make great photographs. We will cover the technical aspects including ISO, White Balance, Flash modes, Picture modes, Aperture, Shutter Speed, etc. Explore the aesthetic and compositional aspects of photography as well in this two-part beginner course. Class demonstrations, critiques of work and slideshows of well known photographers will take place.
In Part 2, learn to using Adobe Lightroom to develop effective workflows for sorting and editing images, refining image adjustment skills, and discuss printing.
Dates for Part 1 have been rescheduled from earlier in the fall. New dates are below along with a follow-up Part 2 for those who take Part 1.
