Neshama Carlebach has announced the official launch of the 18th Yarzheit (anniversary of his passing) year of her father, Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach -- a fabulous, free event called A Taste of Things to Come.
This elegant and heartfelt evening will feature on-the-hour performances by Neshama Carlebach, as well as an open wine tasting bar, sponsored by Kedem. Free of charge and open to the public, it is being planned as a “l’chaim in honor of Shlomo’s 18th Yahrzeit year.” A Taste of Things to Come offers Shlomo Carlebach’s followers and fans the opportunity to gather in commemoration and celebration of his remarkable legacy and to meet with his daughter, Neshama Carlebach, in a warm and intimate setting.
Most importantly, at A Taste of Things to Come, information will be released about a mega-event by Neshama Carlebach and other artists, planned for Shlomo Carlebach’s birthday, in January 2013. Free tickets to this event will be raffled off at A Taste of Things to Come and advance registration will take place for this once-in-a-lifetime Carlebach extravaganza.
Admission is free but RSVPs are encouraged. For more information, please contact Mark Ambrosino at
