9/11: Ten Years Later: An Interfaith Commemoration

Category :: Community
In honor of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, join us for an interfaith service of music and prayer, as New Yorkers of all faiths come together to remember those who perished, and look toward a future of hope. The 5:00 pm service will be held at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, 30 W 68th St. Co-sponsors include Christ and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Congregation Habonim, Saint Michael's Church, the Society for the Advancement of Judaism, and West End Synagogue, as well as other neighborhood clergy and congregations. The service is open to all, and singers are encouraged to arrive at 3:30 pm in order to participate in a special interfaith choir.
