20's and 30's Social Action Shabbat dinner

Category :: Community
Come enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause!

We are partnering with T'ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights and the Coaltion of Immokalee Workers to raise awareness about their campaign for better wages and working conditions in the Florida tomato industry. Rabbinic intern Miriam Liebman, who recently traveled to Florida where she met with local organizers, will share how we can take action in the fight for raising wages and and ensuring an accountable system for human rights in the fields.

We welcome all Young Adults and
Grad Students in their 20s & 30s.

Drinks and appetizers begin at 7:15 pm, following spirited services to welcome Shabbat at 6 pm.

Costs on a sliding scale $18-30
