Imagine the jamming of Phish, mixed with the vocal strength of Pearl Jam and the spiritual lyrics of U2, seasoned with a Middle-Eastern influence and you can begin to describe the unique sound of the Moshav Band. The Israeli-born Moshav Band grew up on Moshav Meor Modi'im, a village located in the hills between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Their home, founded by the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, was and continues to be the birthplace of many Jewish songs enjoyed the world over. Their powerful sound is created by lead singers Yehuda Solomon (vocals) and Duvid Swirsky (vocals, guitar) along with the heavy rhythm section of Keren Tepferberg (drums) and Yosef Solomon (bass). Moshav Band continues to ignite audiences throughout the USA and the rest of the world.
