Israeli film "A Matter of Size" (in Hebrew and French with English subtitles) is the first of a four-part Jewish Public Library Israeli Film Festival 2010-11. The film will be introduced by cinema aficionado Nira Friedman. Admission per movie: $7 Jewish Public Library members/students; $12 non-members. A Matter of Size is a sensitive, humour-filled drama dealing with a problematic issue: obesity. A group of obese men from Ramle discover the world of Sumo wrestling, where people like themselves are honoured and appreciated. Through this sport activity, they learn to accept themselves. The skillful directors and the superb actors offer the audience a great story with a positive message.
