DORSHEI EMET YOM HA’ATZMAUT FALAFELFEST AND ISRAEL FAIR
Sunday, April 26, 1:00-3:00pm
For adults and kids alike! We open with a short ceremony commemorating fallen soldiers and celebrating the founding of the State of Israel. For adults, we have Israeli wine tasting and a pub quiz with fun facts about Israel, hosted by CJAD personality Dan Laxer. For kids, we have face painting, Israel themed cupcake decorating, and Israel crafts. Israeli dancing for all!
Enjoy a potluck lunch, and we’ll provide a falafel bar. Please bring a vegetarian main-course or appetizer for 10, prepared and ready to serve: pastas, cheeses, fish, bean salads, egg dishes, veggie dishes, salad.
Please RSVP to Adina Derrick-Weinstein at [email protected] . Everyone who RSVPs with their potluck item by April 19th will be entered to win delicious Israeli chocolates!
