Wonderful Jewish Themed film
"Anita" is opening in Miami Tower Theater July 8th!
"Anita" tells the story of a young Jewish woman with Down syndrome who gets lost in Buenos Aires after the 1994 bomb attack on the AIMA Jewish community center. The film is by renowned Argentinian filmmaker Marcos Carnevale, director of Elsa and Fred, and stars Norma Aleandro, the “Meryl Streep” of Argentina.
The lead actress of the film, Alejandra Manzo, is a young woman with Down syndrome. Her performance is outstanding and speaks to an appreciation of the disabled community.
