German-Jewish Dialogue and Reconciliation

Please join us for a panel discussion dedicated to Holocaust remembrance, German-Jewish dialogue and reconciliation in commemoration of Yom Hashoah.
The evening will be opened by the Chair of the Association of Israelis of Central European Origin, Ambassador (retired) Reuven Merhav, who will give a keynote address on German-Jewish dialogue and reconciliation. Following that, a panel including Ambassador Merhav, Holocaust Memorial Chair Andrew C. Hall, Rabbi Solomon Schiff, author and photographer Alvin Gilens, AJC Miami director Brian Siegel and former German ARSP volunteer Joerg Nowak will continue the discussion, looking at the current status of this important process and its future.
The event is jointly organized by Action Reconciliation Service for Peace, AJC Miami and Broward, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Miami, the Consulate General of Israel in Miami and
supported by the German Information Center USA, Leonard Wien, President, AJC Miami and Broward.
