Join us Tuesday August 23rd as J Street members, friends, and allies gather at Leo Baeck Temple (1300 N Sepulveda Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90049) from 7:30-9pm to participate in the Two States Summer National Day of Action. Community leaders, rabbis, and students will report back on their meetings with our representatives and to hear about the concrete steps we can take to mobilize bold U.S. leadership to negotiate a two-state solution NOW!

J Street Los Angeles is organizing a series of events for the August 23rd National Day of Action demonstrating American Jewish support for bold U.S. leadership to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Absent significant progress in reaching a two-state solution this summer, the UN General Assembly is likely to vote overwhelmingly to support the Palestinian declaration of statehood. Along with other Jewish community groups and Middle East experts, we believe this outcome will do little to advance a negotiated resolution to the conflict, and will contribute to Israel’s accelerated international isolation.

We have 3 confirmed meetings with Southern California congressional representatives and their staff and we are expecting to obtain several more such appointments over the coming days.
