LUNCH, the documentary featuring the men who made America funny, opens in Los Angeles on October 26, and in NYC on November 9.
We hope you will join us for the screenings in Los Angeles at the Laemmle NoHo for our documentary. Here is a description and the link: www:lunchthedocumentary.com/
For the past 40 years, a group of comedy writers and directors has gathered every other Wednesday for lunch – and other nourishment.
The members and their meeting places have changed ccasionally,
but their friendship and humor persist.
Lunch describes more than a single meal. At each, their perceptive comments are sharp and brilliant. But their meetings mean more to them than affable, professional companionship; rather, a need to keep wit and wisdom alive and well.
These are the fabled guys that made America funny.
Starring Sid Caesar, Monty Hall, Arthur Hiller, Rocky Kalish, Hal Kanter, Arthur Marx, Gary Owens, John Rappaport, Carl Reiner, Matty Simmons, and Ben Starr
