The Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center (SIJCC) will usher in summer with “La La Havdallah,” an all-ages, community-wide event on Saturday, June 1, 2013 beginning at 5:30 pm. This irreverent and approachable take on Havdallah, the Jewish ritual that marks the end of Shabbat, will have something for everyone, including live music, food trucks, adult beverages and special guest performers, including the popular Los Angeles-based musical duo, the Crockett Sisters.
